A journal for state and personal rhythm

Not a score for the day, but
a trace of its movement.

In the morning, note your state and choose three areas you want to give attention to. In the evening, compare that intention with how the day unfolded. Lunar gathers the entries into a personal Orbit — without scores, mandatory streaks, or ready-made diagnoses.

Living Orbit

A history takes shape
from simple check-ins.

  1. 01

    Morning — note your state

Record your available energy, mood, bodily sensations, and direction of attention.

  2. 02

    Choose your Day Budget

This is neither a task list nor a limit. Simply choose three areas you want to give attention to today.

  3. 03

    Evening — notice the change

Compare the intention with how the day unfolded. Over time, the entries form your personal Orbit.

Real app screens

From one check-in
to your own history.

A day begins with a brief check-in. Over time, entries become a calendar, an Orbit, and careful observations grounded in your history.

Lunar Now screen with the current state and Day Budget
01 · Now

The day starts with your state and three areas of attention, not a score.

Lunar check-in screen with energy and direction-of-attention coordinates
02 · Check-in

One point connects available energy, direction of attention, and the feeling of the moment.

Lunar Orbit screen with the history of a selected cycle
03 · Orbit

Individual days form a cycle history where gaps remain visible.

Lunar observations screen showing recurring patterns in check-in history
04 · Observations

Recurring patterns are phrased carefully and always link back to specific entries.

Over time

Your history develops its own signature.

Individual traces form an Orbit and reveal the movement of your personal rhythm. Gaps remain empty, and every observation can be connected to specific days.

  • A flexible rhythm without streaks or penalties
  • Cycle context only when you choose to use it
  • Observation instead of diagnoses or predictions

Principles

Quiet technology for a personal space.

On-device data · Synchronization

Your history works offline and returns after sign-in.

A working copy remains available on your iPhone without a network connection. After sign-in, the history synchronizes with your account.

Honest

Context, not an explanation.

Cycle and lunar phases can provide context for observation, but they do not explain or predict your state.

No pressure

A flexible rhythm without penalties.

Lunar does not score consistency. You can skip any day — an empty space is not treated as an error.

Lunar helps you observe changes in your state. It is not a medical service, does not diagnose conditions, and does not replace consultation with a healthcare professional.

Author-led case

Fewer demands.
More of your own context.

01 · Problem

Many trackers demand discipline, score consistency, and often offer interpretations that sound more certain than the data allows.

02 · Hypothesis

Brief observations and three chosen areas of attention can reveal change without adding more control.

03 · Solution

A morning check-in, Day Budget, evening reflection, and personal tools come together in a history called the Orbit.

04 · Principle

A missed day remains an empty space — not a user error and not a reset of the entire history.

05 · Author’s role

Product concept, user journeys, language, UX/UI, and iOS development.

06 · Status

The public TestFlight beta for iPhone is open. Testers can join through the link.
